Sharon Brooks
Member since 3/1/1988. Sharon has contributed much to the Chapter by holding the offices of Secretary, Treasurer, Chapter Director, Assistant Chapter Director, State Director, Assistant State Director, Assistant Region C Director, Region C Director, Executive Director Secretary, and calling committee. Sharon loves to camp, read mysteries and some romance books and works on genealogy. She and her late husband started riding in the mid 80's and in 1992 she no longer saw the world from the back seat of a motorcycle. The rest is history as they say. Thank you Lady Ryder for all your contributions to the success of GWTA and Husker Wings.
Arnold & Joan Eivins
Members since 3/1990. These two have also been very busy in Chapter C by holding offices of Assistant Chapter Directors, Special Events Directors, and Road Captain. In their "spare" time, they like to bicycle, camp, sleep and eat. They especially like to take those Sunday Breakfast rides. Maybe we can work more of those in, they sound like fun. Thanks guys for jobs well done.
Ken Ewald Top
Member since July 2004. Since joining, Ken has been an avid rider. He loves to attend GWTA events as much as he loves to just ride alone. If the roads are not covered in snow, you will find Ken on his wing somewhere, or anywhere. Ken was the '04 and '05 High Mileage rider from Chapter C. If you want to know about the true love of riding, just look at Ken's face anytime he's on his bike, that will tell the tale.
Donald & JoAnn Hevelone Top
Members since April 1994. Don has been Chapter Rider Education Director for 5 years and Jo was Chapter Secretary for 6 years and Region C Secretary/Treasurer for 3 years. Jo is in her 7th year as Co-Editor of the newsletter. They have held the position of State Membership Directors for 4 years and were Chapter Directors for Chapter C. Thank you very much for your devotion to GWTA.
Larry & Linda Hohensee Top
Members since July 2002. Larry and Linda love to ride their bikes and travel. If the weather is nice, you can find Larry out on the Golf Course. Linda uses the quiet time to read crime books, her favorite thing to do. Linda is also serving as Secretary for Husker Wings. They found time to sell over 800 raffle tickets last year. Larry and Linda are Chapter C's 2005 Family of the year!! These guys live up to the GWTA motto "Destination Friendship". You won't meet nicer people anywhere! Thanks guys.
Earl & JoAnne Lahm Top
Members since September 1994. Earl rides a white 1997 - 1500 SE Gold Wing and when JoAnne is riding behind Earl, she rides her 1998 Yamaha 650. Earl is retired from the Air Force and JoAnne retired from the Nebraska Book company. This gives them the advantage of riding whenever they like, and they do like to ride. Both love to ride with the group and enjoy making new friends each time they go out. They love to go on the Wednesday night dinner rides. Their favorite rally was, of course, Gold rush 1997 in Copper Mountain, Colorado. Besides riding his motorcycle, Earl enjoys wood working and collecting toy Farm Tractors. JoAnne loves recipes, cooking, dancing and hosting pool parties in their back yard. She is always on the lookout for additions to her Christmas in the City house collection. Be on the lookout for these two, their love of riding and life is contagious. Thanks you two!

Members for a long time. These are our resident "Snowbirds". They love Husker Wings, camping, and people. Great assets to the Chapter. Thanks for the good times guys.
Randy Moller Top
Member since December 1987. Randy is a Life Founding Member of GWTA and a founding member of Husker Wings. He is one of 3 active founding members. He has been Chapter Director, Assistant Chapter Director, and is currently Mileage Recorder and current Chapter Director for 2005. If you need information about the history of Husker Wings, Randy is the man to ask. Usually when other members wimp out because of cold or rain, just look for the orange bike...It's Randy doing what he loves most--Riding a Gold Wing. Randy's other hobbies include camping, with or without the tent and NO camper, riding dirt bikes, meeting new people, riding an orange Gold Wing, being with friends, and did we mention, riding motorcycles. Thanks Randy, without you, there may not have ever been a Husker Wings.
Marvin and Judy Norman Top
Members since April 2002. Marvin and Judy were Chapter Directors in 2004 and did a wonderful job. They motivated everyone so well and made meetings fun. They like to ride motorcycles, golfing, playing music and going to music festivals, cruising on the BIG ships, and playing POGO on the internet. They are a fun couple and we look forward to riding with them for many years to come. Thanks for the fun times!
Eldon and Carol Ogorzolka Top
Members since August of 1995. Both Eldon and Carol love motorcycling, and attending parades and competitions. Carol likes to take pictures, scrapbook and of course, ride a motorcycle. Their current bike is a 1988 Gold Wing with 144,200 miles on it. Eldon and Carol were chapter directors for 3 years and Assistant Chapter Directors in 2004. Eldon has held the position of Road Captain for 4 years and has been Rider Education Director. Carol was secretary for 1 year and is currently Newsletter editor, a job she has held very competently for 6 years. They are currently on the calling committee . Eldon and Carol were Chapter C, Regional and State Family of the Year in 1997 and chosen National Family of the Year in 1998. Not one family better lives up to the motto, "Destination Friendship" more than Eldon and Carol. Thanks guys!!
Ardean & Evelyn Ott Top
Members since April 1997. Both have been on the Calling Committee and Evelyn has served as Secretary. These two are always willing to pitch in and help whenever their busy schedules allow them to. Ardean likes to play golf and Evelyn loves to play piano in their spare time, what little of it they have. Thanks for all your help guys, we really appreciate it.
Tom Rule Top
Tom is one of the first members of Husker Wings. Tom has been a member since April 1988. He likes to ride his motorcycle, camp, take pictures, and work lapidary. Tom rides a beautiful two-tone blue 1992 1500 SE Trike. If he isn't riding that, look for the biggest, baddest white truck in the group, you'll find him close by. Thanks Tom!
Alan and Sandy Rosenboom Top
Members since February 1997. Since becoming members, Sandy has held the office of Treasurer. Because they farm, they are as active in the group as time permits. We all know that whatever time they can give us is always appreciated. If they happen to find spare time, they like to tour on their motorcycle, camp, attend motorcycle rallies and Sandy loves to play Bunco all night. Of course the most important thing in their lives right now is how many ways they can spoil their grandson. This is another couple to strives for Destination Friendship and are very successful at it. Ron Thaller Top
Ron has been a member since March 2001. He loves to ride his Wing and Golf. Not sure which he likes best though. Sunday breakfast rides are his favorite ride of all. He says he would love to attend more rides but there is only so much he can do in one day. We wonder if a golf ride would be something to catch his attention. Ron is a pleasure to ride with and a really nice guy. He is a wonderful asset to the group. Thanks Ron!
Ed & Vickie Waymire Top
Members since April 1997. When not riding their Gold Wing, they love woodworking and fishing. Not sure what we can safely say about these two. When asked to fill out the questionnaire regarding things to say about them here, they got a bit crazy. We were afraid to put everything they said on the site. so, we'll just say that they are a GREAT couple to work and ride with. Since becoming members of Husker Wings, they have been on the Calling Committee, Mileage Recorders, Assistant Chapter Directors, (which turned into Chapter Director before the year was out), and are currently Special Events Directors and Ticket Recorder for the Chapter. Just by talking to them one can see how much they love Husker Wings. Thanks for all your hard work!!

Randy and Diane Wright Top
Members since August 2004. Randy and Diane were made welcome by being elected Assistant Chapter Directors and Webmasters in 2005. They enjoy scouting, camping, kayaking, meeting new people, and riding with Huskers Wings.
